A girl named Amber went to sleep over at her friend Morgan's house because Morgan's parents were out to dinner. Morgan just moved to that big old house a month ago and it's her first time being alone. When the girls had all of their stuff in Morgan's room, Morgan showed Amber her new housecoat she got for Christmas. The housecoat was beautiful, red, furry,and velvet. The girls started telling ghost stories when they heard the sound. Amber jumped like a kangaroo. Amber asked what it was and Morgan said it was just the shutters. So Morgan went down-stairs to shut the shutters. Amber waited silently for her friend to come back up and say everything was all right, but that's not what happened. Amber heard a shuffling sound at the bottom of the steps and thought it was just Morgan but the shuffles were too fast for a human to make. Amber turned off the lights so she didn't have to see Morgan in a scary mask. Amber went to a corner and waited. She heard the shuffles closer and closer until they were at the top of the steps. Amber walked to the door and opened it with her eyes closed so she didn't have to see Morgan. When she reached out to feel that it was Morgan - she felt for the housecoat. When she felt the fur she wanted to feel Morgan's face but when she felt it there was nothing there exept a bloody stump where the head was.
